E4 PR Remembers & Celebrates Some Nigerian Heroes In The UK: Prince Tade Olusile & Tochukwu Mokah

By- Egor Efiok

Prince Tade Olusile, a Nigerian Prince and Movie Producer, is the Director of
Panache Global Entertainment UK. He was widely praised in the UK press for risking his life to save a 19-year-old teenager who had been shot by a gang. Prince Tade was on his way back from church when he saw the teenager lying on the street, bleeding profusely. He jumped out of his car and rushed to the injured lad's aid. In a separate case which particularly touched my heart and those of many similar parents who bombarded him with prayers of goodwill on Facebook when it was first brought to our attention 4 years ago; a year after his act of bravery, Tochukwu Mokah, an engineer who travels a lot due to the nature of his work, was on holiday in London in 2009 when his courage inadvertently got tested. Tochukwu (age 27 at the time) was waiting for a train when he witnessed a mother, her 2-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son rushing to get on the train. Her son fell into the gap between the platform and the train! Every parent's nightmare! Tochukwu acted swiftly. He lay on the platform, pulled the boy out from under the train and quickly handed him over to his mother just as the train doors were closing. If you have been to the UK, I'm sure you know that those rails are electrified, hence the consistent "mind the gap" announcements over the speakers. Luckily though, the electricity doesn't reach the side of the platforms because of accidents like these which can occur, but a lot of people are unaware of this fact; which is the reason Tochukwu's act of bravery particularly stands out. Many people would have been afraid to touch the boy for fear of being electrocuted, but Tochukwu didn't think about his safety. It was actually after he pulled the boy out that he started shaking, as the enormity of his actions dawned on him. Click  here and here to read a detailed account of what happened.

We remember and celebrate these two individuals and pray that God's favour continues to shine in their lives forever, In Jesus' Mighty Name - Amen!
